We must overcome the notion that we must be regular...it robs you of the chance to be extraordinary and leads you to the mediocre. ~ Uta Hagen
Hi! Welcome to Mischievious Me! I know, I know…the word is really “mischivous”, but I, along with many people say the word as, “mischievious”. I did some research, and although, it is properly incorrect, it is acceptable in informal situations…..so “mischievious” it is….So welcome!
My name is Harper and I have been shooting boudoir photography for about 5 years. I have trained with the best in the business and have been rewarded with being asked to work on commercials, shoot fashion models, lingerie models and celebrities. All celebrity clients are confidential and their privacy is strongly upheld.
I find it an honor to photograph women and to capture their beauty with my lens to empower them and let them see themselves in a whole new way.
I recently did a couples boudoir shoot. Now I know what you all are thinking…come on now…get your minds out of the gutter! Remember that Faith Hill song, I Love The Way You Love Me, and the lyrics “…I wish that you could see the way you love me”….well, I captured that for them. I felt so honored and blessed to do it.
My couple are teachers, so I will not reveal any names here, but I’d like to tell you on this awesome and precious shoot that we had together.
When the husband first contacted me, he asked if I would take nude images of his wife. I told him I would and that I only do classy, tasteful nudes, then he asked if he could be in some of the photos. I told him sure, and again said they would be classy and tasteful. I shared with him some ideas that I had and he loved them. I talked with Her on the phone as She was nervous. We talked for a bit and most not even about photography or the shoot. He called me back and said the She felt completely comfortable with me. They thought they had found “their” photographer, but after they met and talked with me, I gained their trust and confidence.
On the afternoon of their shoot, She was met with my phenomenal hair and make up team of Brittney Bowman and Mica Fischer. They made her feel absolutely terrific about herself and talked with her the whole time keeping her mind preoccupied as to not think about the shoot. He had so much fun watching her transformation in the “beauty chair”.
We started the shoot with just Her and then added him. As soon as we got the first few shots out of the way, any apprehension they had melted away. They eased into comfort in no time. They giggled, hugged, kissed…expressed love to each other, and I was so honored and blessed to capture all of that for them.
After the shoot was over, they viewed their images and began picking which ones they wanted to their album. They couldn’t narrow it down! They loved soooo many of them! He texted me hours later saying they are ready to book another one for their birthdays! They loved the experience and were thrilled with the images.
I am currently in process of creating the photo album for them and thought it was fun that He contacted me yesterday to see which ones were my favorites. He said they talk about the experience and the images all the time and how much fun they had. He said they go back and forth daily as to which images are their favorites. That makes me so happy! My job had been accomplished. They will have these images forever now. Images to look back on and see how the other one loves the other….LOVE! I love my job!
Had a fabulous time with Jen when she came in for her boudoir shoot.
